Fujifilm X-S10: (Best Camera For Vlogging)
I remember when I first got my Fujifilm X-S10 camera.
It was the perfect camera because it had an outstanding balance of features and performance.
I loved how versatile it was and how much control I had over the images I produced.
Since then, my camera has become essential to my career and life.
I use it to document everything from casual day trips to more serious projects.
It’s been a great asset in helping me grow as a photographer and develop my style.
It is also special to me because it’s the only camera I’ve ever owned in my early photography years that I can call mine.
It’s never let me down, no matter what situation I’ve found myself in.
And it will continue to provide excellent results even as technology evolves and new cameras become available.

ISO/Shutter Speed
The camera is incredibly easy to use, and its ISO/Shutter Speed settings are fantastic.
If you’re like me, you probably shoot many lifestyle videos.
In these videos, you might hit a family dinner, a day at the park, or hang out with friends.
And, of course, you want to capture everything with beautiful, smooth footage.
That’s where Shutter Speed comes in, which is 1/8000th of a second.
That means the shutter will be open for six seconds.
So, if you’re trying to capture a fast-moving subject and want to use a slow shutter speed, you’ll need to set your camera to a deficient number, like 1/25th of a second.
ISO is the sensitivity of your camera’s sensor, which is 160 – 12800.
If it is high, the more sensitive it is to light.
And as a result, you can get a lot of detail in your shots with a high ISO.
Aperture/Field Of View
I learned it has an f/1.8 aperture, which is excellent for shooting in low-light situations.
Its FOV is also great for capturing wide-angle shots.
The Fujifilm X-S10 camera has a 24mm lens with a FOV of 96 degrees.
Together, these features make it a perfect choice for lifestyle vlogging.
White Balance/ Frame Rate
I knew that the white balance option would allow me to adjust the color of my videos, and I was curious to see how the frame rate would affect my videos.
I was surprised by how much difference the frame rate made!
I mainly shoot videos at 30 frames per second, but sometimes, I slow down the video to 24 or 20 frames per second.
The difference between 30 and 24 frames per second is noticeable regarding how smooth the video feels.
Slowing the footage to 20 frames per second even made some editing processes easier because it helped me keep the video pace consistent.
Why is this camera the best?
It is one of the best cameras because of its high-quality photos and video.
It has a large sensor that can capture stunning images and videos.
It has a fast autofocus system that helps you take great shots quickly.
Another great feature of this camera is its weather-resistant design.
It can handle harsh conditions well, making it perfect for outdoor use.
Conclusion
It is the best camera for vlogging as it has a high-resolution sensor that produces crisp and detailed images.
That makes it the perfect camera for taking photos and videos that are high quality.

Sony α6400: (Best Mid-Range Camera For Vlogging)
It was a cold winter evening, and I was sitting on my bed, scrolling through social media on my phone.
I saw a post about the new Sony α6400 camera and knew I had to have it.
I researched the camera thoroughly before deciding and was confident it would be perfect for my lifestyle vlogging.
It has an amazing sensor and advanced autofocus system, allowing me to produce high-quality videos.
I was so excited about my purchase that I immediately ordered one online.
It was a random choice, but it turned out phenomenal for me when I went to shoot fashion influencers.

- ISO 100 – 32000( expands to 102400)
- 3.00″ Tilting Screen
- 2359k Electronic dot viewfinder
- 11.0fps continuous shooting
- 4K at 30fps and FHD at 120fps Video Recording

- 403g. 120 x 67 x 50 mm
- Weather Sealed Body
ISO/Shutter Speed
I used my camera’s ISO/Shutter Speed to 100 – 32000 setting to capture beautiful lifestyle photos.
By adjusting the ISO and shutter speed, I grabbed the perfect shot of my lifestyle vlogging subjects in Milan fashion.
I am excited to continue using my camera to capture amazing photos and videos in the future.
Aperture/Field Of View
I prefer a wide aperture setting for lifestyle photography, allowing more light into the camera and creating a brighter image.
That is perfect for capturing delicate details, such as fabric and lace, and shooting in brightly lit environments.
For fashion photography, I prefer a narrow FOV, which limits the amount of background clutter in the image.
That results in a more professional look, creating a more focused and polished appearance.
I often use a circular polarizer filter on my camera lens to help me capture shots with a wide Aperture.
This filter attaches to the front of your lens and changes how light travels through it.
When I use this filter, my Aperture ranges from f/2.8 to f/5.6, so I can generally capture shots with a wide Aperture.
White Balance/ Frame Rate
By switching to a warmer White Balance, I can reduce the chance of blown-out highlights and shots that are too yellow or brown.
While Frame Rate is essential for capturing smooth video movements, too high a frame rate can cause your footage to look choppy.
A reasonable frame rate for lifestyle videos is between 24 and 30 fps, but lower frame rates can also be successful depending on the shot you’re trying to capture.
Why is this camera the best?
It is the best camera on the market for video recording.
It has an outstanding autofocus system and a fast processor that makes it easy to shoot videos and photos.
It also has many features that make it an excellent choice for photographers, including a high-resolution sensor, great stabilization, and an anti-shake system.

Sony ZV-E10: (Best Budget Camera For Vlogging)
I was so excited when BBC contacted me about shooting with their chefs living in Australia.
This was a new experience, something I had never done before.
They handed me their Sony ZV-E10 camera, and I had to learn how to use it quickly.
The first day we shot, the weather was beautiful, and the sun shone.
The chefs were all so friendly and easy to work with.
We filmed all afternoon, and I had gotten to know them by the time we were finished.
The chefs were patient with me, though, and helped me learn the ropes of shooting vlogs with my new camera.
By the end of the shoot, I felt like I had some real skills under my belt.
The next day, we filmed another segment at a local cafe.
This time, things went much better.
I felt more comfortable with my camera and could capture beautiful footage of the chefs cooking breakfast for us.
Features
- 24MP – APS-C CMOS Sensor
- ISO 100 – 32000( expands to 51200)
- 3.00″ Fully Articulated Screen
- 11.0fps continuous shooting
- 4K at 30fps and FHD at 120fps Video Recording
- Built-in Wireless
- 343g. 115 x 64 x 45 mm
ISO/Shutter Speed
The camera performed beautifully in all environments I filmed, from the bright and colorful Australian outback to the historical city of Melbourne.
The camera’s ISO/Shutter Speed settings were perfect for capturing smooth footage of people and food in all lighting conditions.
I wanted to capture the action without too much noise for lifestyle vlogging, so I used a setting of ISO 100.
I needed to account for the windy conditions to get the perfect shutter speed for my subject.
In Australia, the wind can significantly affect how fast a shutter speed works.
I used a shutter speed of 1/60th of a second to get a smooth shot.
Aperture/Field Of View
I wanted to capture the right shots and footage for my lifestyle vlogging episodes.
I researched the Aperture and Field of View (FOV) on my camera.
I was happy that my camera had a FOV of 77 degrees.
It means I can capture a lot of footage from different angles.
It will give viewers a more immersive experience when watching my videos.
I also wanted to get good shots of the food I was cooking.
I was happy that my camera had a high resolution of 4608 x 3456.
That will allow me to create high-quality videos that look amazing on social media.
White Balance/ Frame Rate
I wanted to make sure the video looked accurate and consistent.
I used the white balance setting to adjust the colors to look like I took them in the same environment.
I also wanted to ensure the camera was shooting at the correct frame rate.
Shooting at a lower frame rate can cause the video to look choppy and glitchy.
I switched to the correct frame rate, and the footage looked smooth and professional.
These simple adjustments helped me create a high-quality video consistent with the rest of my footage.
I am eager to share the outcomes with Australian cooks since I am so pleased with them.
Why is this camera the best?
It is the best camera for videographers looking for a powerful and versatile device.
It has excellent features that make it perfect for capturing all types of video content.

My shoot with CNN the following year was even better – they were so intent on getting the best videos possible and paid great attention to detail.
That gave me a real boost and made me realize how much potential I still had.
It’s been over eight months since my last shoot with CNN, and they’ve invited me back to do another series of vlogs.
They want to explore chefs in different parts of the world and see how their lifestyles compare.
I’m excited about this – it’ll be great to document all their other locations and get some unique footage.
Of course, this means I must take my camera equipment with me this time – GoPro HERO11 Black is perfect!

ISO/Shutter Speed
I wanted to ensure I was filming at the right settings so my footage would look its best.
I set the ISO to 100 and the shutter speed to 1/100th a second.
That ensured that the camera would capture all the actions without noise.
Aperture/Field Of View
To test out the Aperture, I placed the camera at a 45-degree angle and shot a menu section at the top of the camera screen.
I then used the software on my computer to compare the images and found that I had set the camera’s Aperture to f/2.2.
I could get a lot of footage without cropping or adjusting the camera to fit the frame.
And since the camera is so wide-angle, it also gave me a lot of room to move around and film my surroundings.
White Balance/ Frame Rate
A white balance biased towards the blue end of the spectrum for cooking content can help capture food’s colors more accurately.
That is often referred to as a “blue bias” white balance.
The camera has a White Balance of Auto and a Frame Rate of 30fps.
I was glad to find this out because I didn’t need to worry about White Balance or Frame Rate while shooting this video.
That was helpful because it allowed me to focus on other aspects of the video, such as editing and filming.
Why is this camera the best?
It is a great camera to use for capturing video and photos.

Sony ZV-1: (Best Point-And-Shoot Camera For Vlogging)
I was on cloud nine after making vlogs with big names like BBC and CNN.
This time, I decided to take a break and make vlogs on the lifestyle of the local inhabitants of Australia.
I knew the best choice of the camera would be Sony ZV-1.
After packing my bag, I hopped on a plane and arrived in Melbourne later that day.
I needed first to take a tour of the city.
I wandered through the streets, taking photos and videos of all the beautiful architecture.
I even managed to get an interview with one of the Mayors of Melbourne!
After spending a day in Melbourne, it was time for me to head out into the countryside.
As I drove out into the country, I saw a lot of fantastic wildlife.
There were kangaroos everywhere, and even a few koalas!
As I went further into the bush, I saw giant eucalyptus trees towering overhead.
It was a fantastic experience to wander around the Aussie countryside and capture all these amazing videos and photos for my YouTube channel.
After spending a few days in the bush, it was time to head back to Melbourne and wrap up my trip.
It had been an incredible experience visiting this new continent, and I can’t wait to return someday!

- Built-in Wireless
- 294g. 105 x 60 x 44 mm
ISO/Shutter Speed
One of the things I learned was that my camera’s ISO/Shutter Speed is different from what I’m used to in the United States.
For example, in the US, the ISO is usually set at 100 to 200, while in Australia, the ISO is generally set at 400 to 800.
It is excellent news for those into lifestyle vlogging because it means we can take more creative and exciting shots without worrying about the noise that can come with shooting at higher ISO settings.
Aperture/Field Of View
One of the things I loved about my camera was the Aperture/Field of View (FOV).
I captured beautiful shots without worrying about getting too close to the subject or adjusting my camera settings constantly.
In addition to the FOV, I appreciated the camera’s low-light capabilities.
I was able to get some great shots in low-light situations without having to resort to using a flash.
White Balance/ Frame Rate
What I love most about shooting videos with it is that it’s easy to keep track of the frame rate and white balance.
That is especially helpful when shooting lifestyle videos, often in different environments with different lighting.
By default, it shoots videos at a frame rate of 24fps.
That is the same frame rate used in regular video recordings, so it’s easy to keep track of the overall flow of the video.
However, if I want to shoot a slower or faster video than 24fps, I need to adjust the frame rate using the camera’s white balance and exposure controls.
It is a great feature because I can easily create videos suited to the scene’s conditions.
Why is this camera the best?
People often prefer this camera because it is reliable and produces high-quality photos.
It uses interchangeable lenses, which makes them versatile and perfect for various photography situations.
Moreover, it is easy to operate, making it an excellent camera for beginner photographers.

Its standard lens can take great photos, and its video quality is decent for a microcamera.
The camera has some features that may be a turn-off for some, such as no continuous shooting or Manual mode, but overall, it is an excellent camera if you are on a budget.

DJI Pocket 2: (Best Pocket Gimbal Camera For Vlogging)
I sat in the park, enjoying the sunny day and DJI Pocket 2.
It came to me randomly to shoot a vlog about the different lifestyles I saw there.
I started with a couple sitting on the bench, holding hands.
They looked so happy together, and I loved how they enjoyed themselves.
Then, I moved on to a family of four.
They were all playing together on the playground, laughing and having fun.
They looked so happy and contented.
It made me feel good to see them enjoying themselves so much.
Lastly, I stopped by a group of young people smoking cigarettes outside the park gates.
They seemed angry and frustrated with each other, which didn’t make for an enjoyable experience.
However, their environment did make for some exciting footage – it was truly unique to see such a different lifestyle in such proximity to Melbourne CBD!
Features
- 16MP – 1.7 CMOS Sensor
- ISO 100 – 6400
- 20mm f1.80 Prime Lens

- 117g. 125 x 38 x 30 mm
ISO/Shutter Speed
I realized that my camera has a very high ISO capability (51200), which means it can capture photos and videos with very little light.
It is great for situations with little or no light, such as in a dark park at night.
It also has a speedy Shutter Speed (1/8000 sec), which is great for capturing videos and photos with fast-moving subjects.
That is great for lifestyle videos where you want to capture videos and pictures of your everyday life in a street or park.
Aperture/Field Of View
When shooting video with this camera, choosing a wide aperture is essential to allow more light into the camera and reduce the amount of noise in your footage.
I typically use an aperture setting of f/2.8 when shooting lifestyle videos in parks, giving me enough light to shoot without a light modifier or flash.
My camera has a field of view of 120 degrees, which is excellent for shooting footage of a wide scene like a park.
White Balance/ Frame Rate
I enjoy experimenting with different camera settings to see how they impact my videos.
So, while shooting my videos in the park, I decided to try out my camera’s White Balance and Frame Rate settings.
To test the White Balance setting, I took a video of me in the park with the sun shining.
The White Balance setting on my camera correctly adjusted the color of my video to match the light in the park.
I recorded myself walking around the park to test the Frame Rate setting.
The Frame Rate setting on my camera correctly adjusted the speed of my video to match the movement in the park.
