Although most of the advanced technology comes in exclusive smart TVs, it doesn’t mean that cheap ones cannot afford to have a touch of premium quality.
TCL, Samsung, and Amazon are now listed as companies working on producing budget devices with top-notch user experience without devastating the bank balance.
Moreover, the question of budget devices has been asked many times on my YouTube channel, and being a lab tester, I try to give my viewers truthful information about budget devices.
After testing and comparing many devices, I have listed some of the best Smart TVs I have personally recommended to my family and friends.

First, I will tell you about my lounge’s exceptional budget smart TV.
I switched from simple LCD TV to a smart one about five years ago, I thought I liked all of the devices that I used to an extent, but still, the feeling that missing something was always present.
However, back in 2020, when I renovated my lounge, I decided to buy a 65-inch smart TV with great internals and an extravagant display.
Fortunately, the TCL-6 series 65R635 had just arrived in my lab, so after I tested all the features of this device, I was amazed by the results and the little money cost.
I then preached this smart TV for my lounge, and I am not planning on replacing this smart TV anytime soon.

The 65-inch display is gorgeous for experiencing the latest shows and movies.
I have seen Stranger Things in season three, and the visuals of star court mall looked so full and vibrant on the screen.
The display supports BOTH HDR and non-HDR content, but the only issue I have faced so far is that I have to switch the setting from non-HDR to HDR content manually.
Resolution:
The 4 K resolution has its beatification while playing the content.
The details came out to be clean when Mind Flyer was attaching the kids during the final episode of Stranger Things 3.
I could upscale the stander HD content to 4k without significant issues.

The screen supports a 120 Hz refresh rate, enough for casual gaming.

Although Samsung has never been known for budget devices, they still pulled a striking TU700 series at moderate pricing.
The next budget device is Samsung TU7000 (2020), an exceptional choice to add to the guest room.
As I have mentioned above that, I have suggested these devices to people around me from time to time; Samsung was the one that I purchased for my ant.
The performance of the Samsung smart TV has come out to be outstanding; I haven’t been able to put it into the list of smart TVs with major cost-cutting features.
Although the company has ensured that the buyer is satisfied with the pricing, they also didn’t compromise on the quality; the Samsung TU7000 (2020) is the best Samsung TV on a budget.

The 43-inch display does not support Dolby vision but has HDR, HDR Plus, and HLG.
What makes this device worth spending money on is Its HDR performance which competes with some of the expensive smart TVs.

Resolution:
The 4k resolution gives solid picture perfection, and upscaling simple HD content to 4k is impressive.
I played Eyes Wide Shut on this smart TV, and the pixel quality was up to the mark due to the 4k resolution.

120 refresh rate is on par with the LED panel.

I am a regular admirer of amazon products and how they strive to push the edgy technological aspect of smart gadgets.
I have made a whole series on Fire TV, but still, I could not hold myself to including Amazon in my budget smart TV devices.
Nonetheless, 4k is a stander resolution for smart TVs, and it works well, but subpixels still affect the overall picture quality, so not every 4k screen is level.
The Amazon Fire TV Omni Series is the best 4k smart TV on a budget because it doesn’t tether while giving the ultimate 4k resolution.

The 65-inch smart display supports high dynamic range (HDR) content in HDR10 and HLG.
The display has Dolby vision.
In my brightness testing, the Omni received a peak brightness score of 333.653 cd/m^2, a little less reasonable with such a moderate budget.
Resolution:
The 4k resolution and pixel quality are my focus today because, as I have mentioned, budget devices often do poorly in upscaling the content and giving a grainy image, but Omni does none of that.
I played the 4k content of YouTube while, and the image clarity was excellent; also, when I played full HD songs, the 4k resolution handled the video quality with stride.

The smart TV supports auto-low-latency but doesn’t support VRR, making it an underwhelming machine for gamers.
The color performance of Omni is on-par with good scoring when I tested on DCI-p3 in movie mode with an HDR signal.
Apps:
The Fire TV OS offers Amazon-specific streaming as expected, but it also has multiple options to select from HULU, Twitch, and live TV channels such as Pluto-TV.
I was able to see Marianne on Netflix. I also made calls through TV and contacted other Alexa users via Drop-in.
Conclusion:
The smart TV has a striking 4k resolution under an affordable budget, which is rare, and the input lag is low to enjoy casual gaming.
The display brightness could have been better, but the Amazon Fire TV Omni Series lits up as far as resolution, app features, and control system are concerned.

Onn. was not a very renowned brand for smart TVs until recently.
Honestly, I wasn’t aware of the technical specifications of Onn because I hadn’t had the chance to test the smart TV.
However, coincidently one of my friends had bought this device for his living room.
I visited my friend about two months ago when I first experienced the Onn.
Surprisingly, the device’s sharp display and overall alluring design were immersed.
After that, I was eager to test the machine, so I called for a 55-inch configuration.

A decently sized and reasonably equipped smart Tv can do enough to provide entertainment.

Although I wouldn’t say I like the LG’s smart screen, which often obstructs the content, this little bug can be ignored, knowing that other features are the finest.
