Nikon Coolpix P1000 Review:

When you are a cameraholic, you need all the information about a new camera, and primarily, cameraholics do not stick with their previous cameras once they know about a new camera.

The same is the case with my friend.

She is such a camera-loving person that whenever a new camera is launched, she must purchase it and use it as soon as possible.

But once upon a time, she used a camera that Nikon introduced in 2018 and is still using it amid the introduction of new cameras.

I was pretty surprised by this fact and studied the camera’s features by myself; indeed, it was the best camera she had used earlier.

Overview:

The newly introduced Nikon Coolpix P1000 is an excellent addition to the Nikon P series. The camera was introduced in 2018 and soon made its place in the market.

Despite having a heavy-weight body, the fantastic features of the camera make it lovely for use.

The 3.2 diagonal camera is exceptionally problematic to carry.

The vary-angle LCD of the camera and beautiful lenses not only give excellent results but also provide the best options for photography.

Design and body of the camera:

I find that the body of the Nikon Coolpix P1000 is designed perfectly and matches the camera’s features.

The 1/4 tripod socket is present in the camera, and concerning the dimensions, the camera’s weight is 1,415g with battery and memory card.

The dimensions of the body of the camera P1000, in contrast to width x height x depth, are 146.3mm x 118.8mm x 181.3mm.

This camera’s body is designed so that I can handle the camera with affection.

This camera body is supported by a monitor that helps photographers in many ways.

The monitor is sized 3.2 inches diagonally and has a resolution of 921,000 dots.

The most important thing about this camera’s monitor is its frame coverage.

The frame coverage of the Nikon P1000 is divisible in two ways, and this diversity is based on the camera’s modes.

I love the Nikon Coolpix P1000 because it is a type of camera that uses a NIKKOR ED glass lens.

The Nikon P1000 uses a focal length equal to 4.3-539mm.

The 125x zoom-in lens has a digital lens of up to 4x.

While working on movies, the camera works with lens shift and electronic VR. The electronically controlled lens aperture uses a 7-blade iris diaphragm.

The most fun part of the lens of the Nikon P1000 is the construction of the set of lenses we have to use.

Once, we were on a trip to the mountains, and I helped my friend construct it.

There are 17 elements in 12 groups, and while creating the group, we have to place 5 ED lens elements and one super ED lens element.

The image sensor of the Nikon P1000 is a BSI-CMOS type image sensor with a total of 16.79 million pixels, of which 16.0 million are effective.

The SD, SDXC, and SDHC cards work effectively in a single camera.

These memory cards are all supported by fantastic file systems that help the user of the Nikon P1000 work incredibly well on the camera without any problem.

Nikon’s storage file system is based on DCF and Exif 2.31 compliance.

At the same time, the camera’s storage file format has different formats, including a structure owned by Nikon.

The still pictures mode of the camera has JPEG format and RAW(NRW), i.e., Nikon’s format, whereas the camera movies are supported by MP4 format.

These fantastic features of the memory and the file formats make me work easier but sometimes create problems while transferring the recordings and images.

The viewfinder and shutter system of the Nikon Coolpix P1000:

The electron viewfinder of the Nikon Coolpix P1000 has a 2359k dot resolution with an OLED touch.

In contrast to these resolutions of the viewfinder, the diopter adjustment of the viewfinder ranges from -3 to +3 m-1.

The camera’s electronic viewfinder can find the best view with excellent resolutions.

The built-in electronic viewfinder of the camera can shoot in direct sunlight.

The fully articulated 3.20-inch LCD screen works more effectively than a diagonal or fixed screen.

The viewfinder and the camera’s lens aperture give effective results when you have an excellent shutter system.

The same is the case with Nikon P1000. The shutter system of the camera creates exceptional results.

Two types of shutters are used in the Nikon P1000.

The mechanical and the CMOS electronic shutter work significantly with the camera.

The camera’s shutter speed is 1/4000-1 second with an ISO sensitivity of 100.

While recording movies, photographers and professionals can adjust the camera’s shutter speed to 1/8000-1/30 seconds.

The continuous shooting speed is up to 7 shots at approximately 7 frames per second.

The fantastic feature of his camera is its continuous shooting options.

Photographers can adjust the self-timer in the camera per the users’ demands.

Exposure and metering system of the Nikon Coolpix P1000:

The exposure and metering system of the camera depends upon the working of the image sensor and the camera’s shutter system. Effective camera results are based on the camera’s exposure and movie metering.

After reading such information about the Nikon Coolpix P1000, I thought it was the best camera, and professionals or camera operators could use it for various types of photography.

When I talked to my friend, she told me this camera suits professionals.

After listening to this from her, I decided to perform a survey in which I only contacted the people using Nikon P1000.
